Universal laws of success – the law of purpose
From a Yogi’s perspective, the mind can be both a monkey or like a tree (depending on how well it is organised). A well established human mind is called a “Kalpavriksha“. It is in a constant state of equanimity. Whether you realise it or not, there are plenty of universal laws that when harnessed will lead to success. However, the success aspect has to be first conceived in the mind followed by appropriate action.
So, today – I wanted to reflect on one of my favourite laws of success: The Law of Purpose. All successful people “think on paper” and having a clearly defined purpose to one’s life will eventually bear fruit. There are many ways to harness the Law of purpose. My favourite way is a plan on a page. The following is a very simplified version of my plan on a page in relation to the law of purpose that I have decided to share online.

As you can see, you work your way up from the bottom – Foundation until you get to the Summit. Fill in the pyramid with things that matter to you. It should be a form of authentic reflection and expression, not things that you think will impress others. Take the time to sketch out your plan on a page, reflect occasionally and update as required. Hope you find the process helpful.
